On Tuesday evening, December 20, 2022 AD, the Asharqia Chamber organizes its annual reception for businessmen and women, under the auspices and honor of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, at the Dhahran International Exhibition Center "Dhahran Expo"
The annual reception, which has been organized by Asharqia Chamber for more than three decades, is the largest gathering of the business sector in the Eastern Province, and witnesses a large presence of the region's businessmen and women, representatives of major companies, bodies and institutions of the civil sector, Arab and foreign embassies and consulates, as well as senior representatives of government and media official institutions. From various cities and governorates of the region, to strengthen their relations and confirm their role and mission in serving the business sector community.
The ceremony is considered a vital platform for meeting and exchanging opinions, ideas and experiences on many issues of concern to the economic community, in light of the radical changes taking place in the national economy, which have strengthened the role of the private sector and increased its partnership in the process of growth and development, which is led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz. And His Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, in which bonds of interdependence are strengthened, communication is renewed, and ideas that enhance economic growth, which the country is witnessing in all sectors, are put forward.
The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Salman Al-Ruzaizah, says that the annual reception, which the chamber has been holding since the twelfth session, aims to deepen communication mechanisms and open spaces for dialogue and exchange of ideas between the business sector in the region and each other and between them and officials of various civil and government agencies. And it stems from the Chamber's vision and mission that the social dimension is one of the most important dimensions required for any economic work, as it is an annual forum that the Chamber used to hold in which the various segments of the economic community meet
Al-Ruzaiza appreciated the performance of the business sector in supporting the growth and development plans in the Kingdom and the region, pointing to the steady increase achieved in various investment vessels during the current year in terms of strong performance and expansion, whether at the level of production bases, increasing the number of workers from the national forces, or developing its responsibilities. towards social work.
For this part, the Secretary General of the Chamber, Abdul Rahman Abdullah Al Wabel, said that the party of the year is one of the most important activities that the Chamber used to organize, due to the many objectives it achieves, the most important of which is the deepening of ties and relations between the Chamber’s subscribers and each other, as well as between the private sector and the official sectors in the country.
He added that the ceremony has a major role in achieving interaction and communication between the Chamber and all official and unofficial bodies in the region, in addition to the positive communication it achieves on the ground between the Chamber and its subscribers who always prove their active presence in various economic events.
Al-Wabel pointed out that the annual ceremony is held at a time when the national economy is witnessing a qualitative renaissance in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. It is one of the most important activities organized by the Chamber, in the context of its continuous endeavor to deepen bonds and social relations between the Chamber's subscribers and representatives of government sectors, hoping that the ceremony will be Today, it is a fruitful meeting point for businessmen and women, to achieve further development and growth for the business sector in the Kingdom.
